The title seems a bit flippant for the subject matter, but I've said it so many times today, it's starting to lose meaning.
Short story (longer one to come later, supposedly): lump, +2weeks, same lump, midwive, "huh. Yeah, but it's probably nothing", mammogram, "yep, there it is. But it's probably nothing", ultrasound, "Yep, there it is. It's solid, which is a surprise, but it's probably nothing", biopsy, "yep, there's goop in there, so it's probably a dilated milk duct, probably nothing", call from midwive, "We all thought it was nothing, but it's invasive ductal carcinoma".
Fuck.
